Different Brands Of The 12 V Cordless Drill
For the majority of us, the economy has taught us to be more frugal in regard to home improvement loans and hiring contractors. But with the right tools and equipment, we can do the job ourselves at a far less cost. The most necessary tools any of us should own when installing windows, sashes, or blinds are cordless drills. There are many to choose from and here are a few; Black and Decker offers a 12 V cordless drill, 20 drill bits and comes in a protective black plastic case. The drill has a torque power of 10% more than previous models, six position clutch, and ergonomic grip. Another very popular brand of drill is the Bosch cordless drill with 12v impact driver, LED illuminated, includes a battery charger, and boasts 3,000 impacts per minute. This great drill also has its own protective carrying case. When deciding on which 12v cordless drill you wish to purchase, you may want to consider other drills for use in the home as well such as, the Panasonic 24v cordless hammer drill kit. This drill balances evenly, whether in reverse or forward, and is the ultimate in fast speed drilling. The handle is easy to hold onto and tool reception is 1/2" You can't get a better buy for your money with this hard working drill. The Porter cable cordless drill/driver 18v is a magnificent piece of work with its easy grip handle, lightweight feel and 1/2"tool reception. It owns the bragging rights to drilling in hard wood or concrete and does it at amazing speed and accuracy. The batteries charge in 30 minutes, and the whole kit comes in a nice soft carrying bag. No matter how great a 12v cordless drill works, or any other voltage, it is nothing without the proper batteries. Formerly, most drills would stop in the middle of an important project which is very frustrating when short on time. This was due mainly to the use of NiCads batteries. But now with Nimh, batteries charge faster and last much longer. It is very important to remember though, when changing from a NiCads battery to a Nimh one, be sure the charger is adaptable and able to charge both types.

By Darrell Wiggett
